I just started my very own shelter for dogs called “Pawz for a Cause“. It took me almost a year to get all of the kennels, outdoor pens and food donated to my organization. Luckily, all of the food donated was Beneful because it just so happened to be my main choice for the dog food here. Although I had to purchase about 30% of the materials out of my pocket, (mainly Beneful products) the rest was all donated by grocery stores, pet stores and residents in the community.
I am so thankful to have been given such a large amount of Beneful products for my shelter as this particular brand of dog food offers many items including puppy chow, senior dog food and treats. Where I am going to have different aged dogs and dogs with a variety of health issues, Beneful fits so perfectly for me and my furry animals. Today I received two calls about multiple dogs that were found abandoned in the local area. As soon as I got off the phone with animal control, I filled up my first two dog dishes with Beneful and laid blankets out at the bottom of their brand new dog kennels for comfort.
I was given these wonderful refrigerator products from a company called Freshpet as a promotion type thing, so I figured I would try it out with my first few guests. What is great about this situation is that Freshpet only uses fresh meats and ingrediants, so these meals are very healthy for animals to consume. I am guessing that these two dogs coming in this afternoon will be lacking nutrients and minerals in their bodies, so giving them Freshpet along with a bowl of Beneful will certainly help get them back into good health.
